Genetics Consolidated B.V., owned by Jan de Vries, and Thijs Hendrix & Antoon van den Berg, via their respective investment companies, have completed the transaction, LOI announced 26 January 2026, to jointly further develop Genetics Consolidated into a true global leading bovine genetics company. 

Genetics Consolidated B.V., operating under the brand names Diamond Genetics, AMS Genetics, A.I. Total, Eurogenes, and Freyr K.I. Services was founded 25 years ago by entrepreneur Jan de Vries. The company has developed into an agile, mid-sized, and globally on 5 continents, active enterprise with proprietary genetics programs in bovine genetics and has been instrumental  in developing various breed leading lines. The transatlantic company’s headquarters and main facilities are in Wijhe, the Netherlands and Hudson, WI, USA.

Under this partnership structure, Thijs and Antoon have capitalized the company obtaining a 50/50 ownership position alongside Jan, who next to his shareholder role, will continue as Managing Director, with the current management team unchanged. The company aims to further accelerate its investments in R&D and sales to support organic growth, complemented by suitable consolidation opportunities in the bovine genetics’ domain leveraging the extensive networks and complementary expertise of the new investors.
